I just wanted to make a quick post about Help-Portrait, a world-wide event occurring (in most places) on December 4, 2010. Help-Portrait is about photographers giving back to the community that they live in, by following some simple steps:
- Find someone in need
- Take their picture
- Print their picture
- Deliver the picture to the subject.
I strongly encourage you to visit the Help-Portrait website and see if there is an event taking place in your community. Even if you aren't a photographer you can help - Hair stylists, makeup artists, and anyone else are welcomed to help out in any way that they can.
