Lighthouse

I've had this one in the on-deck circle to be posted for a while... but I just kept overlooking it. While I suppose they could be considered as icons of Port Dalhousie, it seems that the city is letting them get a bit rundown. This one has a fence surrounding it now, which sort of kills any photos of it with the whole thing in it - the fence isn't the most attractive thing. Perhaps somebody will rise to the occasion to get these lighthouses restored.

Fishin'

As I said a couple posts ago, I was going to putting up some of my recent favourites. This is one of them. Weather was threatening rain, so it was really just me and some fisherman when I went down to the pier in Port Dalhousie at lunch.

Dalhousie House

Cheaping out on the blog post today. This is one from my lunchtime meanderings in Port Dalhousie. Don't know anything about the building, but it has some character. If you know some history in regards to it, leave it in the comments if you'd like :)

I know I'm going with a less than great photo today - I have a few of my recent favourites lined up for future posts though, to make up for it.
